It is important that arts personnel clearly communicate with colleagues, communities, and leaders about the value of EthnoArts, options for EthnoArts activities, consulting services, and more as they explore the best ways in which they can serve others.
Is able to collaborate well with members of other cultures, navigating issues that arise from other worldviews and spiritual beliefs with honor and respect.
The Arts Consultant will be living and/or working in a culture different from their own. For those serving in their own cultural context, these competencies might be applied in a reflexive way.
